Oblivion Congee
An illustrated Twine game about congee, memory, and reincarnation. Loosely inspired by the Chinese myth of Meng Po and the soup of forgetfulness.
This is an unfinished in-progress game with placeholder art made for My First Game Jam Summer 2020.

the game has a pleasant atmosphere. But a little long
Made a bowl of honey and orange congee tonight 'cause it's cold and decided to sit down and play through this again. Can't wait to be able to have a longer talk with the rice wizard, looking forward to what you add to it

This is so beautiful, and so well done. I honestly can't believe you think of this as placeholder art, it's gorgeous. This was the perfect antidote to the pressure and stress of the game jam these last two weeks, and I'm so glad it was the game I tried first. Great, great work.

Already fell in love when I clicked the run game and it hit it off with this simple mesmerizing pink sketches and that soothing classical! I want to say a lot but I just don't know what to say! The words changing or appearing something else was so fitting somehow!
